VOLUNTEERS

As a Starlight volunteer you will be given the rewarding opportunity to help make a difference in the lives of seriously ill children and their families. You will also be given the opportunity to develop your talents, meet new people, experience fresh challenges and put your creative ideas to great use.
We have volunteer opportunities in the following areas:

• Ottawa Senators 50/50 Ticket Sellers
• Regional Advisory Committee (RAC)
• Regional Events Committee (REC)
• Walk For Smiles Committee
• Corporate Development
• Great Escapes
• Communication and Marketing
• Wish Coordinators
• Office Volunteers

Interested candidates should posses a commitment to our mission, have flexibility, and relevant skills with a desire to learn new skills. COMMUNITY SUPPORT

The Ottawa region delivers Starlight programs through the generous support of individuals, community groups and local corporate sponsors. There are a variety of ways that you can become involved:

• Become a donor or join our Monthly Giving Program.
• Send a tribute in celebration of a special event or to commemorate the life of a friend or loved one.
• Host a fundraising event.
• Invite us to give a presentation to your local community group, school or civic organization. -Encourage your company to learn more about Starlight and how they can get involved.
• Participate in our Starlight Events such as the Walk For Smiles, Cineplex Community Day and other great Starlight events.
• Host a Great Escapes.
